Colchester Fire Protection District is a regional emergency services agency providing fire and medical emergency response as well as other dispatched calls to the citizens of Colchester and our extended coverage area. Additionally, CFPD provides mutual aid support on a regional and multi-county basis. CFPD also provides community support, education and prevention services to the community it serves either in a direct capacity or through mutual aid. We operate from one station centrally located in our response district that covers approximately 50 square miles of primary response area and approximately 600 square miles of secondary response area with mutual-aid agreements.
